DISCOVER YOUR INNER “BEAUTI”
Why Beauti is Spelled With an I
We spell the word beauty as “beauti” with an I as our mission is to decolonize beauty standards that leave us feeling excluded, rejected and undervalued. Decolonizing beauty standards acknowledges the harmful impact of Eurocentric ideals that have historically marginalized and excluded individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, body shapes, and skin tones. By embracing a broader range of beauty, we can create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
Further, unrealistic beauty standards can contribute to poor body image, low self-esteem, and mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. By challenging these standards and promoting body positivity, we can support you in developing healthier relationships with your body and improving your overall well-being.
